To safeguard a spiritual heritage means to deepen it, to live it, and to faithfully pass it on in communion with the Church. The 5th International Conference “The Way of the Divine Will” has been organized with this purpose.
Organized by the Archdiocese of Trani-Barletta-Bisceglie, the Luisa Piccarreta Association – Little Children of the Divine Will, the Family of the Divine Will, and the Parish of Santa Maria Greca in Corato, the Conference represents a significant opportunity for meeting, fellowship, and formation for people from all over the world who wish to deepen their understanding of the gift of the Divine Will as transmitted through the Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta, and to live it faithfully in communion with the Church.
The 2027 Conference holds special significance as it marks two important anniversaries: the 80th anniversary of Luisa Piccarreta’s death (1947–2027) and the 100th anniversary of the death of Saint Annibale Maria di Francia (1927–2027), Luisa’s extraordinary confessor, the first ecclesiastical censor and editor of her Writings, who guided her with wisdom and contributed greatly to the understanding of this precious spiritual heritage.
At a time marked by renewed progress in Luisa Piccarreta’s Cause for Beatification and by the ongoing work on the Critical and Standard Edition of her Writings, the Conference will offer a unique opportunity to learn about the latest developments, deepen an authentic understanding of Luisa’s message, and reflect on its significance for the life of the Church.
The presence of His Excellency Archbishop Leonardo D’Ascenzo, Archbishop of Trani-Barletta-Bisceglie, and Monsignor Paolo Rizzi, Postulator of the Cause for the Beatification of Luisa Piccarreta, together with theologians, philologists, scholars, and leaders of Divine Will groups from around the world, will make this event an opportunity for ecclesial communion, serious theological reflection, and fraternal dialogue.
The rich and wide-ranging program, currently being finalized, will include sessions dedicated to Luisa’s life, the progress of her Cause for Beatification, the Critical Edition of her Writings, doctrinal discernment, the formation of Divine Will groups, and ecclesial communion.
The Conference will culminate with a pilgrimage to Corato, where participants will visit the places that preserve the memory of the Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta, on the 80th anniversary of her death.
This invitation is addressed to priests, religious, and lay faithful from around the world who wish to deepen the spiritual heritage of Luisa Piccarreta and the gift of living in the Divine Will.
