“In the Incarnation, the Three Divine Persons were concurring, with the addition of the Celestial Queen; and She Herself was the divine depository of all the goods of the Incarnation.”
In 1882, at the age of about seventeen, Luisa prepared herself for the Feast of Holy Christmas, by practicing various acts of virtue and mortification, and, especially, by honoring the nine months which Jesus spent in the maternal womb with nine hours of meditation each day, always concerning the mystery of the Incarnation. Luisa received special graces and the internal voice of Jesus helped her in this contemplation. We know that the excesses of love of God are infinite, but in this novena Jesus manifested to her only nine of them, because they were the most accessible ones to human limitation.
In her first hour of meditation, Luisa, with her thought, brought herself to Paradise and contemplated the great mystery of love so reciprocal, so equal, so strong among the three Divine Persons and toward men. She imagined the Father, sending the Son upon earth; the Son, promptly obeying the Will of the Father; the Holy Spirit, consenting.
Jesus spoke to Luisa with great tenderness of His Love in the Incarnation, (December 16, 1928) because in this way He not only renewed His Love which He had in incarnating Himself, but He created new love in order to invest the creatures and conquer them to give themselves to Him. These nine excesses of Jesus’ love, manifested with so much love of tenderness and simplicity, formed the prelude of the many lessons He was to give about the Divine Fiat, in order to form Its Kingdom.
In later years, when Jesus spoke to Luisa, He always referred to the nine excesses of love, enriching Luisa's knowledge in relation to every excess.
In fact, on December 22, 1929, Jesus confided to Luisa that He wants to renew in souls all the love He had in incarnating Himself, but He finds no one to whom to give it. In incarnating Himself He found His Queen Mama who gave Him the field to pour out His love and to receive in Her maternal Heart all the love that creatures rejected from Him.
In the Incarnation, the Three Divine Persons were concurring, and in Jesus’ company – or rather, They were inseparable from Him, with the addition of the Celestial Queen; and She Herself was the divine depository of all the goods of the Incarnation.
In order to be able to elevate a creature to conceiving a Man and God, God had to centralize all possible and imaginable goods in Her. He had to elevate Her so high as to place in Her the seed of the very Paternal fecundity. So, just as the Celestial Father, virgin, generated His son within His womb with the virginal seed of His eternal fecundity, without the work of a woman, and from the same seed the Holy Spirit proceeded - in the same way, with this eternal seed of the Paternal fecundity, wholly virginal, the Celestial Mama conceived Jesus in Her virginal womb, without the work of a man. The Sacrosanct Trinity had to give of Its own to this Divine Virgin, to be able to conceive Jesus, the Son of God. Now, since Our Holy Mother belonged to the human race, this seed of eternal fecundity gave Her the virtue of conceiving Jesus as Man; and because the seed was divine, at the same time She conceived Him as God. So, everything that ab æterno happened to the Most Holy Trinity in Heaven, was repeated in the womb of our dear Mother.
It could happened because the Celestial Mother (December 18, 1927) with the Divine Will that reigned in Her, captured the light of the Word into Her light, and made Him descend even into Her womb. Our Celestial Mother possessed the Divine Will; She was so filled with It as to overflow with light – but so much, that Her waves of light rose up into the bosom of God; and making Herself the conqueror by the power of the Divine Volition which She possessed, She conquered the Celestial Father, and captured the light of the Word into Her light, and made Him descend even into Her womb.
Jesus said that He could never have descended from Heaven had He not found His own light within Her, His own Will reigning in Her. Had it not been so, it would have been like descending, from the very first moment, into a foreign house. But He was to descend into “His house”; He was to find the place into which to lower His light, His Heaven, His countless joys; and the Celestial Sovereign Lady, by possessing the Divine Will, prepared for Him this dwelling, this Heaven, in nothing dissimilar from the Celestial Fatherland.
So, the pure Virgin, Queen and Mother, with few drops of blood which She made flow from Her burning Heart, formed the veil of Jesus’ Humanity around the light of the Word. From that moment, more than sun, which, at its rising, from the height of its sphere spreads its rays over the earth, to give the effects which its light contains to all, so Jesus did. From within the veil of His Humanity, the rays that overflowed outside kept tracing all creatures, to give His Life and the good He had come to bring upon earth, to each one of them. These rays from within His sphere pounded on each creature; they beat down strongly, to tell them: ‘Open for Me – take the life I have come to bring you.’ This Sun (Jesus) never sets, and still continues to follow its course spreading its rays, pounding and pounding, on the hearts, on the wills, on the minds of creatures, over and over again, in order to give His Life. But how many close the doors to Him and reach the point of making fun of His light? But Jesus said to Luisa that His love is so great, that in spite of this He does not draw back, He continues His continuous rising to give life to creatures.
How great and always alive is this excess of Love of our Supreme Good, Jesus!
