In the early months of 2017, Mrs. Teresa Perdue of Waterford City, Ireland, was having significant problems with her left eye. When she went to her doctor, she was informed that there was a leak in the left eye.  After a few days, Mrs. Perdue was called back to the hospital for another scan; before the examination while looking at a picture of the Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta, she repeated several times, “Luisa, please ask Jesus to bless my eyes.” After the examination the doctor observed: you have two healthy eyes, the leak has completely dried up. Then Mrs Perdue. asked, “Doctor, is it a miracle?” and the doctor answered her. “Yes, it is a miracle.”

Mrs. Perdue was called back for a second scan, this time by a different doctor who said after examination, that her eyes were perfect.

I want you to be always upright in your operating – with one eye look at Me, and with the other eye look at what you are doing…  With your eye fixed in Me, you will not judge anyone, you will not look at whether the thing is painful or enjoyable – whether you can do it or not.  Closing your eyes to all this, you will open them to look at Me alone; you will take Me together with you, thinking that my gaze is fixed on you, and you will say to Me:  ‘Lord, for You alone I do this; for You alone I want to work…”(Volume One)

Oh Virgin Mary,

“teach us to see all things with the eyes of Jesus,

that he may be light for our path.” (Lumen fìdei, 60)
