Today was much more than a simple Sunday outing; it was a true journey into the heart of Corato’s spirituality. Accompanying our first- and third-year middle school students to the home of Luisa Piccarreta gave us the opportunity to step away from the busyness of daily life and immerse ourselves in a story marked by humility, prayer, and trusting surrender to God’s will.
It was beautiful to witness the wonder in the eyes of the younger students, intrigued by the details of a life so completely devoted to the Lord. Equally meaningful was seeing the older students discover in this visit concrete inspiration for reflecting on responsibility and on the beauty of saying their own “Yes” to God, especially now that their journey of faith is becoming more conscious and mature.
Our heartfelt thanks go to the Luisa Piccarreta Association and to all the volunteers who animate and support its mission. They welcomed us with rare warmth and generosity, dedicating their time to the students with patience and genuine care. Thanks to their precious service, Luisa’s witness does not remain hidden within the pages of a book, but becomes a living and meaningful encounter, still capable of speaking to the hearts of young people today.
We return home with the awareness that, just as Luisa teaches us, even the smallest acts of everyday life can become something great when they are carried out with love and in union with the Father’s Divine Will.
