“Your Kingdom come, Your Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.”
These words accompanied Ann throughout her life and inspired her tireless efforts to share the spirituality of the Divine Will. Today, we entrust to God our memories, our gratitude, and our prayers for her as she returns to the Father’s House on August 31, 2026.
For more than thirty years, Ann Ellison devoted her life to learning about and sharing the writings of the Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta. Her mission was about much more than study or teaching. She sought to make what she had come to know a path to be lived each day, placing the Divine Will at the heart of her spiritual life and sharing with others the beauty of a life completely given to God. Those who met her encountered a woman deeply passionate about Luisa’s message, but above all, someone who sought to live it and to help others discover its richness.
Ann’s journey of discovering the truths of the Divine Will became deeply connected with Italy and, in a special way, with Corato, the city where Luisa was born and lived. In 1994, Ann attended the celebrations marking the opening of Luisa’s Cause of Beatification, an experience that strengthened her bond with the Luisa Piccarreta Association. It was also during those years that a particularly meaningful friendship developed with Sister Assunta Marigliano, who was then president of the Association and to whom Ann remained deeply attached throughout her life. She always remembered Sister Assunta with great affection and gratitude, recognizing in her a maternal presence for those who were beginning to discover the spirituality of the Divine Will. That bond with Corato and with the people who knew and loved Luisa remained a precious part of Ann’s journey throughout the years.
In the mid-1990s, Ann’s service also became closely connected with the Luisa Piccarreta Center for the Divine Will in Jacksboro, Tennessee, founded by Thomas Fahy. She joined the Center’s staff and worked closely with Tom, contributing for many years to its work of study, formation, and outreach. From that time on, her mission took on an increasingly international dimension. She participated in conferences, retreats, gatherings, and formation programs, bringing the spirituality of Luisa to people in many different countries and accompanying countless individuals who desired to deepen their understanding of Luisa’s writings and their meaning for their own lives. She also took part in important international gatherings dedicated to Luisa Piccarreta, becoming for many a trusted and knowledgeable presence, while always remaining warm, approachable, and available.
In her teaching, Ann emphasized that knowledge of the Divine Will could never remain simply a matter of words or study; it had to become a life lived with God. In particular, she often spoke about the importance of cooperating with Jesus so that the Kingdom of the Divine Fiat might find ever greater room within the soul. This was at the heart of her witness: helping others understand that the Divine Will is not merely something to learn about, but a life to embrace, a gift to receive, and a relationship of love to cultivate each day.
For more than thirty years, she gave her time, energy, and heart to this mission, convinced that the message entrusted by Jesus to Luisa could bring light, peace, and renewal to the lives of those who welcomed it. Her apostolate took many forms—study and teaching, personal encounters, listening, and spiritual accompaniment. Through her words and her example, she encouraged many people to continue on their spiritual journey and to seek the fullness of life in the Divine Will.
This is how we wish to keep her memory: in the light of what she sought to live and share through her witness. She carried with her a conviction that she shared with so many of those she encountered: the Will of God is life, peace, joy, and harmony.
Now that Ann has completed her earthly pilgrimage, we entrust her soul to the Father with gratitude for the gift of her life, for her love for Luisa Piccarreta, and for all that she planted in the hearts of those she met. Her example remains an invitation for us to continue our journey in the Divine Will with confidence, making our own the prayer that accompanied her throughout her life:
“Your Kingdom come, Your Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.”
Fiat!
