"Anniversary of the birth and baptism of the Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta"

Dear brothers and sisters, I would like to inform you the works for the integrated restoration of the Luisa Piccarreta House-Museum will begin shortly. For this reason, starting next week, all of our activities, including the reception of visitors, will take place at the Institute of the Daughters of Divine Zeal.

I want to thank all the people who helped us in the heavy work of moving the goods and furnishings present in the entire building, the headquarters of the Association Luisa Piccarreta and in the subsequent set-up at the new temporary headquarters.

They took charge of the needs of our Association and they all worked with enthusiasm and fervor, voluntarily, with love and a great spirit of humility and service, imitating God, who became a servant for our love.

While the material action flies away after being performed, the inner act, the intention and the freely expressed choice remain forever. It is precisely in the Divine Will that we have performed all these acts of ours. We have called God to work in us, aware that every good act of ours guides us towards the Unique and Eternal Act of our Lord, thus contributing to the universal good.

In Vol. 35, Jesus, addressing Luisa, says:

“This is why We want the creature to live in Our Volition - so that her acts and Ours may be fused together, and may resonate with one single sound, one single value, one single love”.

It was a beautiful opportunity to share and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood. We rediscovered ourselves members of the same family, of the great family of the Little Children of the Divine Will. So, my wish is that our associative family may grow more and more in unity and love; that love may not stop at words, but may be expressed also in service, a humble and silent service.

Each of us should make available the gifts that the Holy Spirit has bestowed upon us to contribute to the growth of our Association.

For this reason I also thank all those who are sharing with us their material goods, contributing with love, even monthly, to our economic support by giving what they can in this difficult time we are living.

In the Encyclical Letter Fratelli Tutti (All Brothers) Pope Francis tells us:

“No one can face life in isolation… We need a community that supports and helps us, in which we can help one another to keep looking ahead”.

So, let us put ourselves at the service of one another, each with our own abilities, and walk together to build the Kingdom of God.
